Sunday: After our final match in Managua with the Nica national team.

  1. Thanks for the pictures. Looks like everyone is having a great time. Being a language arts teacher, I have to tell you that I enjoyed Katie, Rachel, and Annie's blog. We were just talking about word choice in language class, and it was a great example. We circled all the adjectives!! Another great thing is that I have a group of kids involved in Future Problem Solving (ask Dani about this). They are going to competition in 3 weeks and their topic is orphan children. I read your blog to them about the donations that you took and what you said about their schools. The kids felt bad and now they want to do something to help. My students are going to talk to the student council about doing some type of service project to raise donations. With the earthquake that just hit Haiti, this may be the perfect opportunity for them help. I bet you didn't realize that this trip would have an impact on others, and spur them on to do good things, too. Thanks for sharing your stories. If you do visit an orphanage, my students would like to hear all about it.
